During this consultation, I try to get an understanding of the scope of your project and will provide you with a cost estimate based on my hourly rate. Once we have discussed the scope of your project, and agree to work together, I require a deposit to secure our working relationship and schedule a target completion date.
If site design is within your project’s scope, I suggest you research similar types of websites to get a sense of exactly what you like or don’t about those sites. We will both benefit from as much information as you can provide about aesthetics and functionality. Next, design comps are created until we agree on an overall design for the site.
Once the design has been finalized, I will begin to develop the content into a working prototype. At this point, I prefer to have all final content for the site including text and photographs where applicable. The site will be posted on my server so everything can be previewed online and edited before launching the final product. I will implement basic search engine optimization while building your site to help with search engine ranking. Once finished I will deploy the website to your hosting server. I provide ongoing maintenance and updates to the site and provide ongoing support for any questions or issues that may arise.
